Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

"c'est" is not objectifying, you just need to use it the right way

"il est" is followed by an adjective (or other pronouns like elle/ils/elles...)
"c'est" is followed by a noun

#

ex: "Ce sont mes soeurs, Marie et Lucie. Elles sont plus jeunes que moi."

yes absolutely, and you should

#

when I say you should, it's compared to "je suis [name]"
and yes, this is a very common way to introduce yourself, although quite informal
"je m'appelle" can be quite formal

"Voici X" is also a fine answer for introducing an acquaintance to someone, albeit a bit more formal sounding

#

"Je te présente X" is probably the most basic one, "C'est mon/ma [insert relation], X" is completely fine in more casual contexts though, yeah
