Besides some tenses misshaps I don't see much :
"Comment plat principal, je voudrais...", you're narrating, you need a past tense to signify you wanted
"Il y a aussi le plat du jour"

I can't help but be confused at ordering hot chocolate at the very start, idk the context but if you asked that in a restaurant in France, they would probably be weirded out.
On the same note, it doesn't make sense that you got your dessert before your sister finished her salmons. they usually write down all meal/dessert orders at the same time
