Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"déguster" comes from the latin degustare, and means "to savor" (comes from de + gusto, where "de" in this case reinforces the verb)
"dégoûter" comes from "dégoût" (disgust) basically the opposite of "goût", and means "to disgust, to put someone off"
so they both have etymological ties with goûter, but one has "dé" indicating an opposite, one indicating a reinforcement. as such, they have completely different use cases and stayed split
