Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
its hard to say since french like any language has a ton of rules when it comes to grammar. i'd say just learning things like direct/indirect object pronouns and where they go in relation to the sentence, question words/phrases, basic prepositions and present/past tense verb conjugations (just know how to recognize which tense it is when you see a conjugated verb), along with lots of basic vocabulary, should be a good start. french grammar is honestly not too far from english grammar so understanding things shouldnt be too hard when you know the vocab
Present tense does a huge amount of heavy lifting conjugation wise, all the other tenses are significantly more regular (but may take some time to learn how to apply correctly)
Beyond that, it's largely a lot of small things pieced together.
