Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

I wouldn’t recommend placing grammar at the center of your language learning, though. Devoting just 15 minutes per week is sufficient to stay familiar with the fundamentals. Making grammar a central focus will likely drain the joy from the process and turns learning into an exercise in memorizing exceptions rather than acquiring communication skills. This is particularly true in French, where irregularities abound and frequently defy logical patterns. I believe that prioritizing assimilation, context, and active use will yield more intuitive and lasting progress

Generally speaking, most vocab will be the same in Quebec. The exceptions to this you'll likely acquire naturally through speaking to people or consuming media, and we often will point out when something varies here in the server. The accent is more important to adjust to early on, but even then the fundamentals stay pretty much the same.
