Madame

Quick note, so we use 'Miss' to refer to unmarried women and 'Mrs' for married women. French used to have this distinction with « Mademoiselle » and « Madame » respectively, but due to its sexist undertones, we no longer make this distinction.

Now, we address any woman by « Madame ». « Mademoiselle » is now restricted to young women, think highschoolers and below.
