Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

@opal mountain

What languages do you speak?
'Me, I speak French, English, and Spanish.'

#

It's not uncommon to add a 'Moi/nous' etc. in French.

#

Take for example:

Tu vas bien ?
Oui, et toi ?
Je vais bien / Je vais bien, moi aussi.

#

Can be emphasis, can be personal preference.

subject and object repetition is extremely common in French
what often happens is that you use a pronoun for the main sentence, and identify that pronoun in isolation, either before or after the main sentence
ex: Elle est là, Marie ? (you first make the main sentence using "elle", then identify who "elle" is referring to, also works in reverse: "Marie, elle est là ?")
another ex: __c'__est quoi la bonne réponse ? (what's the correct answer?)

#

it also happens with stressed pronouns (moi, toi), notably as a way to redirect the conversation
