Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
hmmm you wouldn't usually use "dans" unless you were emphasizing that you are literally IN that thing right now
"je suis dans le bus" → I'm physically located in the interior of the bus - but the bus isn't necessarily moving, I'm just telling you where you would find me.
"Je vais à Rennes en bus" → here I'm just specifying the mode of transport I'll be using
