Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
@cloud radish @broken sigil 🥲
You've had all the basics down and been easily comprehensible for a while now. The only thing really left to do is to improve your fluidity, and optionally, refine your accent to be more "native" if you want. Unfortunately I can't really help with the latter or rather it would take me too much time, I'm not super familiar with accents from france so I'd have to cross-reference everything you said on a service like youglish to give you advice on what to shadow. I'm more familiar with québecois accents.
In terms of fluidity, keep trying to chain your words together as much as possible, even when speaking slowly. For example, "entre autre" - as far as I know, that's always said more or less as one word, like "entrautre".
So yeah if you want to continue improving, I'd say it's just a matter of shadowing a bunch of French, trying to get closer and closer to pronouncing French how you hear it instead of how you read it.
Thanks a lot @broken sigil ,this is sensible advice. I'm gonna work on my fluidity and post some more voice notes next week.
Hoping you have an excellent weekend 🌼
