Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I would say so yes, especially in more casual discussion. Using "savoir" with a noun isn't very common at all in everyday french
There are some contexts where it can come up, but in most cases "connaître" will be preferred
That being said, "savoir" is generally (formally) the verb for knowledge that you know by heart, that you have memorized, or that is a simple fact. "Connaître" generally being more of a familiarity with something
I am really surprised that a textbook for beginners about savoir vs connaître says "sait" is the correct answer here.

because an overwhelming majority of the population wouldn't say that and would probably think it sounds weird
