Slangy equivalent to "fiend" and "fiending" in French

As per the title, are there any slangy equivalents? I think both words were originally related to drugs (or sex I guess), so "fiend" would be an obsessive drug addict, and "fiending" would mean to crave drugs obsessively. And this usage probably came from fiend's original definition of "demon."

But I think they're often applied without these connotations so you could be a music fiend, or someone very obsessed with music. Or you could be fiending, or obsessively craving, food. So, I'm asking moreso in this context.

A drug addict is "un toxicomane" but I guess we also use "junkie" in french. If you want to say "addicted to" you can use "addict à/accro à".

- "Il est accro aux jeux vidéos" = "he's a video game addict"

It should work for music, food, etc...

- "Il est accro à la nourriture" = "he's a food addict"
