#prépositions avec/sans ’de’

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
prépositions avec/sans ’de’
Extra: Pourqoui "sur" pour "une question sur <sujet>"?
hmmm I don't know if it's something that you can generalize as being related to containing "de" but "sur" → "on", "au dessus de"/"en dessus de" → "above"
"sur" implies that the thing is in physical contact
as for why it's "une question sur", prepositions aren't logical, really... they just are used the way they're used
I see... now I'm kinda wondering why class materials grouped them with/without "de".
Oh wait... I think it just means I can omit "de"?
- I don't say "Sur de la table", nor "au dessus la table".
Yeah, I think I understand the groupings now.
« de » actually implies separation like « Je viens de France »
