Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
for example, instead of saying "je me lave..." i would like to say "je lave ma voiture"
Certain ones, for sure. But there are some that are exclusively used pronominally, like s'emparer
And because you mentioned this one specifically, yes, laver can be used either way

I know reading elsewhere that non-reflexive verbs can be used reflexively to show action towards themselves (se parler) but would it make sense to French people if I tried speaking non-reflexively to indicate actions that don’t necessarily involve myself, such as “j’empare du ville”?
