I saw another exception case with a usecase with age as well turns out french speakers considers the age to be posessive in nature like il a 23 ans where a has to be has but turns out it just mean he is 23 years old

Don't use translation tools to try to figure out meanings of things, in this case "to bring" and "to take" someone somewhere are synonyms, so it's no indication of a difference in meaning or a problem with the author

Using a good bilingual dictionary like wordreference will tell you way more than any translation tool ever could
