Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Two things for that.
First, make sure you get comprehensible input. By comprehensible input, I mean things that you can actually understand be it because the podcasters are speaking slow and/or they are speaking with simple vocabulary. That will let you absorb enough French at a good pace.
Second, consume a lot of media. The issue with language learning is input, and we tend to only have input during periods in which we’re learning the language. For example, you may well learn French 2 hours every day but conversely that’s 14 hours of you not learning French. That’s where passive sources like songs and podcasts come into play. You can consume French a lot more.
i watch lots of vlogs, and turn off thr subtitles if im able to roughly understand. might work for u!
Maybe repeat what they say back? Also, Language Transfer is a great listening app. It’s audio of a guy teaching a student and he pauses for you to give an answer before the student does
