Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
You should be practicing pronunciation from the very beginning - but this refers to the basic sounds of the language, not mimicking any specific accent or perfecting the accent beyond the basic sounds, which would indeed be more intermediate/advanced
You should be able to pronounce the words you learn in a way that they are at least coherent
Learn your nasal vowels (un/in/en/on), as well as U vs OU
The "r" you can use whatever "r" you'd like - try for a "french r" if you want, but so long as it sounds roughly like some kind of r, you will be understood, and there is a decent bit of variation even among native speakers
