Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
you should say "Quand vas-tu au marché? "
But if you use "Vas-tu" from the verb "aller" it means you are sure that the person will go to the market, but if you want to ask normaly you can say "Vas-tu au marché ? si oui, quand ? (do you go to the market, if yes, when" if i translate word by word
(It's aller, not vouloir.)
In an inversion-type question, an interrogative word, if any, comes first.
(Same with est-ce que questions.)
