Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Secondly, heavy-handed morality can be described as 'preachy' which is translated in French as « sermonneur/sermonneuse », so maybe that? Perhaps « prétentieux/prétentieuse » as well?
