"s'est" by itself is meaningless. You're probably seeing the passรฉ composรฉ conjugation of pronominal verbs (https://www.lawlessfrench.com/grammar/pronominal-verbs/).
These verbs all need a reflexive pronoun and are conjugated using the auxiliary "รชtre" in composed tenses.
So "il s'est douchรฉ" (he showered) is to the verb "se doucher" as "il a mangรฉ" (he ate) is to the verb "manger".
