“Vont-ils perdre des points?” Is the sentence. I already know that it gets the pronoun en, but i want to be sure i get it right

So, would it be “En vont-ils perdre?” or “Vont-ils en perdre?”

Iirc you have to have “en” after the “ils” but there is a “vont”

The second one is correct because "vont" is for "perdre des points" and the pronoun goes right before the verb it relates to. Since "des points" is related to "perdre" as it's its object, the pronoun "en" goes before the verb: perdre des points => en perdre.
