Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

[faire + infinitive] is a causative construction.
It's used when making someone do something (causing an action onto them)
Fais-le danser <=> Make him dance
It's also used when doing something through some kind of intermediate
J'ai fait réparer ma voiture <=> I had my car repaired 🛠️ (I repaired it through a middleman)
Je fais cuire le riz <=> I am cooking the rice 🍚 (I am not actively doing the action to cook, but rather set up something that'll do it for me)
The gist of it is you're not directly doing the action, but you're causing it onto something or someone else

imperative is used to make requests, or give orders. They don't have the same use cases
