Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
-re meaning 3e groupe?
these are mostly irregular verbs you learn them on a case by case basis
but there are some regular ones
let me see what i can find
Règle de formation du présent de l'indicatif pour les verbes des deuxièmes et troisièmes groupes. Modèle de verbes en -ir et -re au présent de l'indicatif.
with the takeaway being
Les verbes du 3e groupe sont fortement irréguliers mais suivent une terminaison en :
s, s, t, ons, ez, ent
e, es, e, ons, ez, ent
x, x, t, ons, ez, ent
-re ≠ 3e groupe
3e groupe verbs do include all -re verbs, though
Just two entirely different ways of grouping verbs
that is the first thing i asked was if they meant the 3rd group
otherwise idk what they mean
"Regular" -er is :
-s
-s
-ons
-ez
-ent
1e/2e/3e groupe are almost exclusively used by native speakers, learners learn by endings (ER/IR/RE) and the regular/irregular for each
oh, i only know it by the groups
