Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
« Sainte-Marie-du-Mont » is the actual title, not the name
When you have place names like this, the structure is « formation géologique + nom ». So, for « Mont Saint-Michel », you have the geologic formation (mont, rivière, vallée, etc) plus the name (Saint-Michel, Blanc, Chaperton)
For « Sainte-Marie-du-Mont », « mont » here is part of the name portion, not the geologic formation
St. Mary of the Mountain[s] and Our Lady of the Mountain[s] are among the many titles of Mary, mother of Jesus. Among dedications using the titles are:
Abbey of St Maria del Monte (founded 1001), Benedictine monastery in Cesena, Italy
Bellapais Abbey (founded c.1200), Cyprus
Santa Maria del Monte de Cea, León, Spain
