Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
There's not another verb in the second sentence
You could say, for isntance, "où est-ce que le chien se trouve"
because we have another verb
Est-ce que is a question-marking expression, we don't consider it a verbal expression even if it contains est. So after said expression, you must give at least a subject and a verb.
You have both the subject (vous) and the verb (aimez) in the first sentence but in the second one, you only have the subject (le chien), the verb is missing.
