Please be patient
Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"est-ce que" is a fixed phrase whose purpose is to turn a statement into a question.
Example:
Tu manges du poulet. You're eating chicken.
==> Est-ce que tu manges du poulet ? Are you eating chicken?
"ce que" means "what" when "what" is a connecting word between two clauses (and not a question word).
Example:
I do what I want. Je fais ce que je veux.
