Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
ok, so first off, don't use translation tools to try to learn grammar
they don't understand what you're trying to do
they just give the most likely output for a given input
and if you're only using sentence fragments, they tend to do a really poor job, since the way those tools work requires as much context as possible
so, if you are going to use a translation tool it would be important to add who you got it from
that all being said, the translation you've been given works
if we break it down word-by-word you have:
- subject: « je » → I
- object: « l' » → it (this is an object pronoun, it goes before the verb)
- verb: « ai eu » → got/have (literally this means "have had" but it's the French passé composé tense which most often should be translated by the English simple past)
- preposition: « de » → from
