Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Is there any reason you think it wouldn't just be the name of a school?
Example: https://www.sfusd.edu/school/aptos-middle-school
Aptos Middle School's mission is to provide an enriching, engaging, and empowering educational experience with equitable outcomes for each student using critical pedagogy and research-based, multi-tiered systems of instruction and intervention to promote student self-mastery, scholarship, and social justice.
The whole monologue feels very translated to me ("école intermédiaire" ==> "middle school", "les amitiés que vous avez nouées le long du parcours" ==> "the friends you made along the way")
So I would just assume that it's the name of a school in an English speaking country
Lol, yeah I just realized it was the name of the school. It came up a little later. I always struggle to recognize proper nouns in graphic novels 🤦🏽♀️ Yeah it's based in an English speaking country, I'm reading the French translation.
Makes sense. "The friends we made along the way" is a common trope in English, but I don't think it's something a French speaker would ever naturally say
