Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

If you were to say like «i told you that»
For example
For y/en and other object pronouns like it (me, te, se [reflexive], etc), they always come before the conjugated verb. For example, ‘I saw you’ would be « Je t’ai vu (te + ai vu) ».
‘that’ depends on what pronoun it is because you can either use the regular object pronouns or the demonstrative pronouns. If the former, before the verb; if the latter, after the past participle
