Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Depends what you mean
i am writing about technology
i listed a bunch of positions but wish to indicate a change in
idk the word for it, opinion?
I'd probably phrase it differently then
you can use bon/bonne when refering to things to talk about their "goodness" but often times bien gets used instead, particularly when used after the verb être
using bon/bonne after être often gives it more of a feel of something being good as in food
so it would more resemble something like ce n'est pas tout bien
ce sont de bons amis
vs.
tes amis sont bien
c'est une bonne tarte
cette tarte est bonne
uhhh I'd probably add a noun after to make it work
ce n'est pas que de bonnes nouvelles
and that means the same as "it is not all good" ?
ah
I see, thank you
So would this make sense?
La technologie est formidable et la tendance générale de utilisant de technologie (comme la téléphone portable) est à la hausse. Cependant, ce n'est pas que de bonnes nouvelles ; il y a beaucoup de risque avec technologie. Par exemple ...
hmmm there it sounds too informal

You could say something like "Cependant, il y a certains inconvenients et risques associés à la technologie
also, check your noun genders
and we can use the present participle in French as a noun
merci
