Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
What is meant by dispatch in this case?
So it's a trucking company where dispatchers send out trucks and drivers to various locations. That's a dispatch.
More like a delivery.
Like managers are seeing what the driver is delivering.
Like it would list the start and end point and estimate when the driver would arrive.
I guess you could just use "livraison" in that case?
Envoi/expédition only means sending. Répartition refers to the operation to get merchandise to the destination.
Livraison is only on arrival.
hmmm I guess I'm not familiar with the technicalities of delivery lmao
for me everything is a delivery/livraison
There's a similar word: acheminement.
