Another example Direct object: Je regarde la television (I watch television) vs Je la regarde (I watch it). The la before regarde is making my brain hurt.

but as far as which verb they go before, it depends on the meaning of the sentence and which verb is acting on the objects

So we can't say je regarde la? We have to say Je la regarde to say ''I watch it''

Or Je vais le manager (I am going to eat it)

Because if you just sais "je regarde la", we would stand right here and wait for you to give the word after la.

Or just think you meant "là" as in "right now".

So the object pronoun goes before the verb it relates to.
