« Quand » est plus commun et familier et « lorsque » est légèrement plus soutenu

Dans de nombreux contextes, ils sont en effet interchangeables

« Lorsque je vais à la boulangerie »
« Quand je mange »
« Lorsque je mange »
Il n’est pas interchangeable quand/lorsque « quand » est utilisé en tant que « question de temps ».
