Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

You need to conjugate your verb

#

You wrote “I think that you to drink…”

ohh i see

#

i think i got confused because i had this rule in my head abt the second verb in a sentence not having to be conjugated

#

but im guessing that doesnt apply here but im not sure why

A second verb that comes after a conjugated verb and has the same subject isn’t conjugated (I.e. « je pense pouvoir le faire » - I think I can do it)

But here you’re dealing with an entirely new clause and new subject, so you need to conjugate (« je pense que tu pourras le faire »)

@naive pilot Reminder to reply in the thread instead of in #🍬salle-de-traduction. Otherwise Nostradamus will think it's a new question. :D
