Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

In this case it's an informal use of the conditional. "Vous verriez sa tête !" = "If (only) you could see his/her face!"
Oooh gotcha, that really helps clarify things. I was thinking of it like the "should" in the phrase "if you think he's bad, you should see the other guy" where there's also an implication of "and then you'd see he's not that bad relative to the other guy".
