C'est un intensif, cela pourrait servir à renforcer ou intensifier le sens du verbe.

Mais c'est un peu compliqué car parfois, "bien" sert à affaiblir le sens du verbe, ce qui est le cas avec "je t'aime bien".
Cela dit, dans ce cas, je dirais que c'est simplement là pour souligner le verbe.
