Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
If we wanted to translate « falloir » would be closer to « should » while « devoir » would be closer to « must ». Also « falloir » usually refers to actions uncertain in time « devoir » is usually used for immediate actions or at least in the near futur. « Devoir » is a stronger word.
It's also that « falloir » is more objective and external whereas « devoir » is more subjective and internal
« Je dois faire ma tâche » means that you have an innate obligation to do your work
« Il faut faire la tâche / il faut que je fasse la tâche » means that your boss or whatever is pushing you to do your work
