Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

his would be "elle lui brosse"

#

and while "se brosse ses cheveux" is perfectly understandable, it's just not what we say and feels redundant

#

"Elle te brosse" is correct yeah

The structure is similar to how we say "I punched him in the shoulder"

#

"I punched him in his shoulder" sounds redundant and odd

#

But not necessarily "incorrect"

Oh that's very helpful. Thank you! Questions like this help get me thinking about using French in my daily life and practice sentence structure so it's a really big help
