Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

yea same, it’s a show where people are gambling and this person says something like “je vais te faire un cadeau” then lowers the stakes for the game to make it less risky
I can see why that works, it may not be common but in English we do it too. "Could you tell Lucy to make that phone call to my boss? That’s my Christmas gift from you x)"
