Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, but the verb is "répondre".
And it takes an indirect object introduced by "à", so the structure to say "to respond to someone/something" is "répondre à quelqu'un / quelque chose".
Does that answer your question?
"à" is not an article, it's a preposition. Like "to", "at", "of" etc. in English
That just describes a "typical" sentence.
Example:
Marie - déteste - le - thé
subject - conjugated verb - article - noun
In the case of your screenshot:
Tu - réponds - à - mon - message
Subject - conjugated verb - preposition - possessive - noun
You answer to my message 🤷♂️
