There are some verbs that don’t allow the indirect object to be replaced by an indirect object pronoun.
For example you’d say :
Je pense à mon fils, je pense à lui.
instead of
Je pense à mon fils, je lui pense.
In the case of your sentence, yes it’s possible but it doesn’t sound natural since you’re already replacing the subject
