oh lamao
alr lemme make that clearer
I understand the difference between definitive and indefinite articles in theory, but in practice, I kind of struggle on when I should beusing that unstead of an article partitive
i am not asking anybody to fill out my homework for me
I'll give you a hint for the first one : You definitely want an article, but it's probably not what you're thinking, and it works different from other cases. Look up how to references "every saturday" or "on Saturdays" in French
I have it as le samedi
because its like on saturdays
and i know thats a weird french grammar thing
Ok, nice!
I guess my confusion is more like...
Le/la/les is for proper nouns - specific things, no amounts
And du/de la/des/etc is for amounts, but also groups of things, and also like... coming from
and it's just messy and i dont get it
Yeah, I hear you. I actually still struggle with this sometimes too. I think your best bet is to take a shot at filling this out, and then come back to us with the ones you struggled with/are unsure of
I am almost done so lemme do that
i get stressed out with the repetition lmao
wait the first is un not une
because its petit marche not petite
Yeah, also check the gender on alimentation
- You also want to remember that "des" becomes "de" in front of a plural adjective like "bons"
- elle aurait mal [de] ventre -> you want a different preposition here
- la plupart [les] visiteurs -> you're also looking for a preposition here. adverbs of quantity are typically followed by it
