"meilleur" means "plus bon"

So they already contain the word "plus" bundled in.

Therefore, they cannot be used with "moins", "autant", etc. You have to use the base form for that, "bien" or "bon".

C'est meilleur que...
C'est moins bon que...
C'est aussi bon que...

It's like how in English you can't say "It's as better as" or "it's less better than"
