Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Don't use translation tools to try to understand grammar rules, it's a waste of time

as for the articles, English and French don't use articles the same way, so sometimes in French you'll have a definite article where in English you wouldn't, it's just how the two languages work
In general, French requires a definite article a lot more often than English does
