Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
When a word ends in re and it started with il/elle/on do you remove all of the re
To answer the first question, no. You need to conjugate the verb: Il attend
For the second question, that's one of the patterns for -re verbs, but keep in mind that they're 3rd group verbs, so the patterns are much less consistent than for -er (1st group) and -ir (2nd group) verbs
Peindre, for example, another -re verb:
Is the original word like to do to eat then tou change it when you say she eats and stuff
If I'm understanding your question correctly, yes.
attendre -> infinitif, "to wait" in english
j'attends -> conjugated, "i'm waiting" in english
What’s I wait
