Please be patient
Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Because French does things differently from English. In general, French uses « avoir + noun » for states of being like « j’ai faim (lit. I have hunger) », and it makes sense here because what follows is a noun, not an adjective : « j’ai 30 ans »
Oh j'ai + noun, and je suis + adjective?
I see, that makes sense! Thanks!
Another question would be, do you not pronounce the s and z at the end of the word? (Other than exceptions when s and z are followed by vowels)
