Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

« en » and « y » are used to replace instances of « de + object » or « à + object » if said object was inanimate.
« J’ai besoin d’une chaise -> J’en ai besoin »
« Je m’habitue à faire ça -> Je m’y habitue »

Using « en, y » to replace animate/living objects can happen but it’s really colloquial.

This can also work for quantities (J’ai beaucoup de chaises -> J’en ai beaucoup) and places (Je suis à Paris -> J’y suis)

Now for places, that’s where it gets sorta complicated because « y » can replace prepositions other than à like « Je suis en France -> J’y suis ». For that, don’t think of « y » as replacing « à + object » but « preposition + place ».
