Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
me, te, se...: these are the objects of a reflexive verb, where the receiver of the verb's action is the same person as the doer of the verb's action. In other words, when the subject and object are the same person.
Example: Je me regarde dans le miroir - I'm looking at myself in the mirror.
The subject (I) and the object (myself) are the same person.
moi-même, toi-même, lui-même...: these are used by themselves, not as objects, to provide emphasis.
Example: Je l'ai fait moi-même - I did it myself.
The subject (I) and the object (it) of the verb are not the same person, this isn't a reflexive verb. "Moi-même" is just added as emphasis / extra information.
