Please be patient
Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
funny like it makes you laugh, amuses you, not as in strange
merci a vous!
Worth noting that "drôle", while it normally means "amusing", is also part of the set phrase "drôle de <noun>" where it does mean "strange".
C'est une histoire drôle = it's an amusing story
C'est une drôle d'histoire = it's a strange story
So depending on the structure, it covers both meanings of the word "funny" in English.
damn that was new to me. thanks lots
