btw can décrocher be used to mean to pick something off the ground
i saw the sentence "décrocher le cadavre et essayer de lui retirer ses bottes"
while the body was on the ground so i was a bit confuzzled

I looked up the expression, which led me to a guide. I see there is a hung-up corpse. So the verb would be unhang.
