Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"faire" est suivi d'un verbe pour causer une action
"rendre" est suivi d'un adjectif pour causer une transformation
il a fait partir le chat -> partir est un verbe, le chat fait une action
il a rendu la discussion intéressante -> intéressant est un adjectif, la discussion s'est transformée

They both have a ton of uses, especially "faire" which is like top 5 most used verb in French. So don't this as their main meaning
